Curriculum development and delivery is a priority at Jimboomba State School and is based on the Australian Curriculum. It provides the foundation for our students’ future learning, growth and active participation in the Australian community. It sets out essential knowledge, understanding, skills, general capabilities and cross-curriculum priorities and provides a national standard for student achievement in core learning areas. All of our curriculum documents have been written to reflect the explicit needs of our Jimboomba community.
There is a strong Literacy focus across all learning areas providing quality learning experiences, which are both challenging and accessible to all students.
As well as fully qualified teachers for PE, Music and LOTE, Jimboomba State School also has a specialist teacher who delivers the Science Curriculum to students in Years 4-6.
